A empresa Leica, sediada em Lousado, e com a qual a FORAVE  estabeleceu um protocolo de cooperação em 2024, dinamizou uma sessão de apresentação aos alunos dos primeiros anos dos cursos de Mecatrónica e de Eletrónica, Automação e Comando, no dia 26 de junho. Esta cooperação visa estreitar a ligação entre alunos e o setor industrial, abrindo portas a estágios, visitas técnicas e futuros projetos colaborativos. 

A sessão foi dinamizada por Ana Azevedo, Recursos Humanos, e José Nunes, Departamento de Montagem. Os alunos puderam conhecer a história da empresa desde a sua fundação, na Alemanha, por Ernst Leitz, e os vários processos envolvidos nas áreas de produção - mecânica, ótica e montagem. 

Foi-lhes explicado todo o processo produtivo detalhadamente, desde a exibição de vídeos até à observação de amostras das placas de circuito impresso presente nos equipamentos, nomeadamente em máquinas fotográficas e em binóculos. 

O processo produtivo dos equipamentos Leica passa, inicialmente, pelo desenvolvimento dos respetivos circuitos eletrónicos; de seguida, pela elaboração das placas de circuito impresso - PCB - e respetivo tratamento, pela colocação da pasta de soldadura e inserção dos componentes para, posteriormente, serem soldados com ar quente. Todas estas fases decorrem num processo totalmente automático. 

Por fim, foi ainda apresentado todo o sistema de controlo de qualidade das placas eletrónicas, recorrendo à visão artificial para detetar possíveis defeitos. 

A apresentação foi muito dinâmica e motivadora para os alunos presentes, que tiveram oportunidade de colocar questões, esclarecer dúvidas e curiosidades e de compreender o funcionamento do sistema de captação de estagiários para a unidade produtiva da empresa.

No dia 25 de março, os alunos dos cursos técnicos de Transformação de Polímeros, Manutenção Industrial, Eletrónica, Automação e Comando e Mecatrónica da FORAVE realizaram uma visita ao CeNTI (Centro de Nanotecnologia e Materiais Técnicos, Funcionais e Inteligentes) em Famalicão. AA iniciativa teve como objetivo proporcionar aos alunos uma visão mais aprofundada sobre as tecnologias de ponta utilizadas no desenvolvimento e aplicação de materiais inovadores, especialmente em áreas como a transformação de polímeros e a automação industrial.

Durante a visita, os alunos tiveram a oportunidade de explorar os laboratórios e as instalações de pesquisa do CeNTI e conhecer de perto os processos avançados de desenvolvimento de novos materiais, como plásticos de alto desempenho e soluções para a indústria automotiva e eletrónica. O CeNTI, conhecido pela sua atuação em áreas como a nanotecnologia e os materiais inteligentes, abriu as suas portas para os futuros profissionais, mostrando como a inovação tecnológica está a moldar as indústrias do presente e do futuro.

A visita foi um momento enriquecedor para os alunos, permitindo-lhes visualizar na prática as potencialidades das suas futuras áreas de atuação e o impacto da inovação tecnológica nas diversas indústrias e obter uma maior preparação para os desafios e inovações que encontrarão nas suas carreiras profissionais.

Este tipo de visita faz parte de um conjunto de atividades planeadas pela Forave para aproximar os seus alunos da realidade do mercado e do setor industrial, destacando a relevância de se estar sempre atualizado num mercado de trabalho em constante evolução.

A disponibilidade e o profissionalismo da equipa do CeNTI foram fundamentais para proporcionar uma visita inspiradora e educativa, demonstrando como a ciência e a inovação estão a transformar a indústria.
